Are You Not Entertained?: Week 2


There are certain pitfalls to the entertainment-driven church:

Faith is not a performance. It would be wise for us to admire, honor, and look up to people we know well off stage.

How is Jesus our example in loving service to the world?

When you’re the Son of God, what do you have to prove? When we’re the children of God, what do we have to prove?

When there’s nothing left to prove, you serve.

At some point in our spiritual growth process, a shift must take place from the one being served to the one serving. Our service toward others but come from a place of love and not of obligation. From spectators to servers.
