Move in Love

1 Corinthians 8:1-13

Can I or should I? There are certain things we can enjoy in life, but if we do not take into consideration that our actions may cause someone harm to their faith in Christ, then we should refrain from doing that behavior. How do we do this? God’s word has the answer.

Precaution
“…knowledge puffs up while love builds up.” v1b

Peril
“Be careful, however, that the exercise of your rights does not become a stumbling block to the weak.” v9

Priority
“But whoever loves God is known by God.” v3

Action Points:
Ask yourself, “Can I or should I?”
Ask yourself, “Will this cause a damage to their faith in Christ?”
Ask yourself, “Why am I posting on social media?”
Ask yourself, “What am I posting on social media?”
At the same time, “Methods will change, but the mission never changes.”
