Verse 6 When the word reached the king of Nineveh, he arose from his throne, laid aside his robe from him, covered himself with sackcloth and sat on the ashes.
• When we sin against God and God helps us to see what we have done wrong, we should

ourselves before God and ask for His .

• We should never take for

God’s forgiveness of our sins.

• Sometimes we need to ask God something then,

and that His decision will be the right one for our lives.

• God is to a people who didn’t deserve it. God is also merciful to us who don’t it either.
• Our God is a and compassionate God. We need to Him for all that He has done for us.
Encouragement:
1. Remember that God loves you and sent His son Jesus to die so that you could have forgiveness of your sins. God wants us to see our sin and repent so that we can change and grow in our relationship with Him.
2. Remember to always look at yourself first when it comes to sin before you look at others and point out their sins.
3. Remember that God loves you and He desires for you to grow in your faith and not stay stagnant. Remember listen to Him and allow God to help you to change because we cannot do it alone.
