Romans 12:9-15
9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. 10 Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. 11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. 12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 13 Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.

1.

IS OUR POSTURE.

Honor means seeing people through God’s eyes.

Philippians 2:3-4
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

In our church, we honor every generation.

In our church, we choose words that build up.

In our church we serve with honor.

2.

IS OUR PRIVILEGE.

Luke 6:38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap.

Generosity in action
Supporting missions, food distribution, and families in need.

Generosity in relationships
Encouraging others, practicing hospitality, making room for people.

Generosity in time & service
Volunteering, mentoring, investing in the next generation

In our church, generosity fuels the mission. We give so that lives can be changed.

3. IMPACT IS OUR LEGACY.

When we honor others, God maximizes our impact.
When we live generously, God multiplies our impact.
When we build a church of honor and generosity, God moves in powerful ways
