SGKids Gospel Project (04/28): Parent Discipleship Questions
April 27, 2024

Hey Parents,
We understand that you are your kid’s primary discipler, and we get an amazing role in contributing to their journey to trust and follow Jesus. In light of this, we want to equip you with the questions that we asked your child during our small group discussion time in SGKids. You can use these to emphasize what they heard from the lesson and provide input of what God is doing in your heart.

Our kids are working through a curriculum from the Gospel Project. Our prayer is that these questions will allow your kids to both hear more about Jesus and see how Jesus is changing your heart. We can’t wait to hear how God will use these in your family’s discipleship!

Lesson: We Are to Tell Others About Jesus
Christ Connection: Just as Jesus came into the world so people might trust in Him and be saved from their sins, Jesus has sent the church to tell others the good news that Jesus saves people from their sins.
Big Picture Question: Why does God command Christians to tell others about Jesus? We tell others about Jesus so they will hear and believe the good news.
Memory Verse: “How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?” (Romans 10:14)
Bible Passage: Romans 10

Questions for Preschool Kids (3 to 5 years old):

1. What was your favorite part of today’s Bible story?

2. What did you learn about God in today’s Bible story?

3. What did Paul say someone needs to do to have beautiful feet?
