After the sufferings of his cross, Jesus appeared alive many times to these same apostles over a forty-day period. Jesus proved to them with many convincing signs that he had been resurrected. During these encounters, he taught them the truths of God’s kingdom realm —Acts 1:3 (TPT)

Living Proof

Three truths Jesus’ life proved post-resurrection

  1. His

is evidence of victory over any circumstance
He showed Thomas His risen presence

Thomas, the one called Didymus, one of the Twelve, wasn’t with the disciples when Jesus came. The other disciples told him, “We’ve seen the Lord!”
But he replied, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands, put my finger in the wounds left by the nails, and put my hand into his side, I won’t believe.”
After eight days his disciples were again in a house and Thomas was with them. Even though the doors were locked, Jesus entered and stood among them. He said, “Peace be with you.” —John 20:24-26 (CEB)

  2. His

is with us in difficult times
He showed up and encouraged two distraught disciples

“And we had our hopes up that he was the One, the One about to deliver Israel.”” —Luke 24:21 (MSG)

They were in the midst of a discussion about all the events of the last few days—Luke 24:15 (TPT)
As they talked and discussed, Jesus himself drew near and walked along with them; they saw him, but somehow did not recognize him. —Luke 24:15-16 (GNT)

  3. He is not going to

See the Evidence of God’s heart

  • Faithfulness (Love & Faith)

“The Lord did not set his heart on you and choose you because you were more numerous than other nations, for you were the smallest of all nations! Rather, it was simply that the Lord loves you, and he was keeping the oath he had sworn to your ancestors. That is why the Lord rescued you with such a strong hand from your slavery and from the oppressive hand of Pharaoh, king of Egypt. Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands. —Deuteronomy 7:7-9 (NLT)

  • Love

For the greatest love of all is a love that sacrifices all. And this great love is demonstrated when a person sacrifices his life for his friends. —John 15:3 (TPT)
For this is how much God loved the world—he gave his one and only, unique Son as a gift. So now everyone who believes in him will never perish but experience everlasting life. —John 3:16 (TPT)

  • Faith & Power

“The Father has an intense love for me because I freely give my own life—to raise it up again. I surrender my own life, and no one has the power to take my life from me. I have the authority to lay it down and the power to take it back again. This is the destiny my Father has set before me.” —John 10:17-18 (TPT)

    💪🏽 Power in Blood🩸

The blood will be your sign on the houses where you live. Whenever I see the blood, I’ll pass over you. No plague will destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt. —Exodus 12:13 (CEB)
