Foothold – In climbing, a position used as a base for further advance

1. Recognize a potential foothold.

When did it begin?
What happened just before it began?
Is there a family history?

2. Release those who hurt you.
Read the Parable of the Unforgiving Servant in Matthew 18:21-35.

3. Renounce all agreements with the enemy.

He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy. —Proverbs 28:13

4. Remove the strong man.

6. Renew your mind and heart.
