C. God uses living water to make us into true worshipers

D. Be Ready
a. Enjoy. Eat what is good. Drink deeply. Psalm 1:1-3
b. Confess sin. Seek the Lord. 1 John 1:8-9
c. Repent. Put sin to death. Colossians 3:5-6
d. Return. Trust in the finished work. Colossians 1:21-23
e. Share the living water. John 4:28-30
Small Group Discussion Questions
Share about a time when you didn’t have access to indoor plumbing – OR a time when you’ve been really, really, really thirsty.
Share about a time you’ve seen God’s kindness and truth on display in your life.
Review the Lies / Truth table. Which lies do you battle? Which truths do you treasure?
How do you see yourself in the woman at the well?
Share about a time you’ve experienced God’s love in a new way (e.g., when you first believed, after conviction of sin, etc.).
Review Isaiah 55 - read through it as a group and review the following questions:
a. Enjoy: How do I approach God’s Word (as an obligation or an invitation)? (55:1, 2b)
b. Confess: Am I holding on to (or hiding) unconfessed sin? (55:2a) Who is a trusted disciple I can talk to about this?
c. Repent: What truth do I need to start believing about God to turn away from sin? (55:3a, 7a)
d. Receive: Do I believe God has forgiven me, that He has compassion on me? (55:7b)
e. Share: With whom do you think the Holy Spirit is guiding you to share God’s love?
