Isaiah 17:1-14

17:4-11 | The prophet pronounces judgment on Jacob, meaning his descendants – the tribes of the northern kingdom.

17:13-14 | God would blow away the foreign nations like the chaff separated from the grain (Matt. 3:12). They would create a giant dust storm, and they would vanish in a day, between eventide and morning. God will ultimately rescue His people and deal justly with all the nations (Ps. 83:13).
