Raising children is a privilege and gift from the Lord, and the best thing we can bring to our children is a “God-filled heart,” meaning a heart that loves Jesus. When dad and mom truly love God and are transparent with their faith, children are much more inclined to love God as well.

1. The love of God in the home is the secret of a loving home.
2. Pray with and for your children.
3. Parent out of faith and not fear.
4. Commit you and your family in a loving, Biblical church.
5. Serve God with your children.
6. Teach them to obey God by the way you expect obedience in the home.
7. When they have questions – affirm them.
8. When they want to accept Jesus – affirm them.
9. Create an environment where your children can talk to you about anything.
10. Create a declaration of family values.
