The Lord says, “This year will be a year of unspeakable joy, a year of prosperity, and a year of healing.” The Scripture the Lord gave me for this is 3 John 2 (NKJV) 2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
Greeting to Gaius
3 John 1:4(NKJV)
1 The Elder, To the beloved Gaius, whom I love in truth:
2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. 3 For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, just as you walk in the truth. 4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
The word prosper applies not only to finances, but to all areas of our lives.
Prosper: to succeed in an enterprise or activity, to achieve economic success, to become strong and flourishing, to cause to succeed or thrive, to grow vigorously, prevail, triumph, win, and excel.

God wants us to prosper or excel in our joy this year! He said it would be a year of unspeakable joy!
A Year of Unspeakable Joy
1 Peter 1:8 (KJV) 8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
1 Peter 1:8-9 The Passion Translation (TPT) 8 You love him passionately although you did not see him, but through believing in him you are saturated with an ecstatic joy, indescribably sublime and immersed in glory.9 For you are reaping the harvest of your faith—the full salvation promised you—your souls’ victory!
Joy is not happiness. Joy is a deeper emotion that is constant even in hardship and turmoil. Happiness is fleeting depending on the circumstances, but joy is an inner peace, a contentment, a pleasure that is deeply embedded in the heart and soul of the believer based on their relationship with Christ Jesus, not on circumstances.
How do we get our joy-tank full? Joy comes from the Holy Spirit. It is actually a Fruit of the Spirit
Galatians 5:22-23(NKJV)22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
We bear this fruit in our lives when we have been with the Holy Spirit, when we allow Him to change us from the inside out.
We learn to walk in the fruit of the Spirit to the measure we submit ourselves to the Spirit.
Joy is a by-product or fruit of time spent in His presence.
Psalm 16:11 (NKJV)11 You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
Psalm 43:4(NKJV)4 Then I will go to the altar of God,
To God my exceeding joy;And on the harp I will praise You,O God, my God.

A Year of Prosperity
Psalm 35:27 (NKJV)27 Let them shout for joyand be glad, Who favor my righteous cause; And let them say continually, “Let the Lord be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.”
God want us to prosper in every way; yes financially, but in every area of life-He wants us to prosper in our finances, in our home life, in our ministry, in our health physically, and in our soul-the mind, will, and emotions.
How do we become prosperous?
Joshua 1:7-8(NKJV) 7 Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. 8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
