Big Idea: One of the best spiritual practices you can do is to decide now what you want to do later.
• THE DIRECTION OF YOUR LIFE DETERMINES YOUR DESTINATION. YOUR DECISIONS DETERMINE YOUR DIRECTION.
• THE QUALITY OF YOUR DECISIONS DETERMINES THE QUALITY OF YOUR LIFE.

Habakkuk 2:4 - “Look at the proud! They trust in themselves, and their lives are crooked. But the righteous will live by their faithfulness to God.” NLT
1. Every INTERACTION is an opportunity to add value.
Ephesians 4:29 - Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
Matthew 6:25, 32-34 - “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes… 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
John 21:16-17 - Again Jesus said, “Simon son of John, do you truly love me?” He answered, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Take care of my sheep.” 17 The third time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my sheep.
2. Every PROMPTING is an opportunity to obey God.
Acts 20:22 - “And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there.”
Grit: strength of character that refuses to quit
3. When I commit, I don’t QUIT I am a finisher.
2 Timothy 4:5-7 - … Don’t be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Work at telling others the Good News, and fully carry out the ministry God has given you. 6 As for me, my life has already been poured out as an offering to God. The time of my death is near. 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful. NLT
Revelation 3:1-2 - “… I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead. 2 Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have found your deeds unfinished in the sight of my God.”
What’s your unfinished business?
Acts 20:24 - “However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.”
I consider
Obedience is our responsibility. The outcome is God’s.
Take the next step.
