A decree - to inscribe or engrave; an order usually having the force of law.

  1. A king’s decree is law.
  2. Once declared, it cannot be changed.
  3. There is no limit to its effectiveness or influence.
  4. It is to be followed exactly as stated without fail.

Love gives you the freedom to choose wrong.

  1. A king’s decree is law.
  2. Once declared, it cannot be changed.
  3. There is no limit to its effectiveness or influence.
  4. It is to be followed exactly as stated without fail.

Esther 8:1 NLT

On that same day King Xerxes gave the property of Haman, the enemy of the Jews, to Queen Esther. Then Mordecai was brought before the king, for Esther had told the king how they were related.

Esther 8:8 NLT

Now go ahead and send a message to the Jews in the king’s name, telling them whatever you want, and seal it with the king’s signet ring. But remember that whatever has already been written in the king’s name and sealed with his signet ring can never be revoked.”

  1. A king’s decree is law.
  2. Once declared, it cannot be changed.
  3. There is no limit to its effectiveness or influence.
  4. It is to be followed exactly as stated without fail.

Esther 8:11 NLT

The king’s decree gave the Jews in every city authority to unite to defend their lives. They were allowed to kill, slaughter, and annihilate anyone of any nationality or province who might attack them or their children and wives, and to take the property of their enemies.

In Esther 8:11, we see the spiritual authority of the power of the 2nd decree.
1. To unite and defend
2. To kill, slaughter, and annihilate attackers
3. To take the property of the enemy.

Mark 5:7 NLT

With a shriek, he screamed, “Why are you interfering with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? In the name of God, I beg you, don’t torture me!”

1 Peter 5:8 TPT

Be well balanced and always alert, because your enemy, the devil, roams around incessantly, like a roaring lion looking for its prey to devour.

Jesus decreed: It is FINISHED!
Heaven decreed: He has RISEN!

  1. A king’s decree is law.
  2. Once declared, it cannot be changed.
  3. There is no limit to its effectiveness or influence.
  4. It is to be followed exactly as stated without fail.

Romans 5:17-19 NLT

17 For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man, Jesus Christ.
18 Yes, Adam’s one sin brings condemnation for everyone, but Christ’s one act of righteousness brings a right relationship with God and new life for everyone.
19 Because one person disobeyed God, many became sinners. But because one other person obeyed God, many will be made righteous.

Because…
1. Our King’s decrees are law.
2. Once declared, they cannot be changed.
3. There is no limit to their effectiveness or influence.
4. They are to be followed exactly as stated without fail.

TIFAW

I choose to live in the power of two decrees; “It is Finished” and “He is Risen.”
1. I embrace the righteousness God has given.
2. I live triumphantly over sin and death.
3. I live every day in right relationship with God.
4. I live each day as a testament to His promised life.
