Title: God’s Blueprint for Family Discipleship
Text: Psalm 78:1-8

From generation to generation there is a call from God for his people to pass the torch of faith to the next generation through discipleship. This week we had VBS, which is an awesome opportunity each year that we have a little time to invest in these kids. As a pastor, I only have so much time to pour spiritually into those who come to church.

Church, my heart is that we too will pass the torch of faith to our family, community, and world. I believe that the Bible gives us a blueprint to do just this. I believe, to pass the torch to the next generation, it must start in our own homes. Family discipleship is one of the primary ways we can pass the torch of faith to the next generation. There are three truths from Psalm 78 that inform us how to pass the torch of faith.

   to proclaim God to the next generation (4-5)

   Reveal Answer
   : A generation anchored in hope and obedience in God (6-8)
