Acts 19:1-20

19:1-4 | Paul discovered a pocket of disciples who had received John’s baptism but had never heard of the Holy Spirit. They were representative of people throughout the Mediterranean world who were at various stages of spiritual knowledge and understanding.

19:4-7 | When these 12 Ephesians believed in Christ and were baptized in His name, they spoke in tongues and prophesied, just as the first Christians had at Pentecost.

19:17-20 | When the gospel was unleashed with genuine spiritual reality, there was power – the people at the church in Ephesus were genuinely repentant, and their changed lives led to revival.
