SMALL GROUP QUESTIONS

Warm Up Question: Describe someone you know that you believe to be humble.

HEAD: These questions help us examine the Word.
Read 1 Chronicles 29:10-22 in two sections. First read 1 Chronicles 10-13 and answer:
1. What characteristics did David highlight about God’s character and actions?
2. Why is it important to dwell on God’s character?
Then read 1 Chronicles 14-22 and answer:
1. What does it look like to think correctly about ourselves once we have a right view of God?

HEART: These questions help us wrestle with what we believe.

  1. In 1 Chronicles 29 we see great humility as well as great joy. Is it a new thought to connect humility and joy?
  2. How do you embrace both of these?

HAND: These questions help us bring truth and beliefs into our everyday life.
1. Look at verses 10-13 again. What does it look like for you to live a life overflowing in worship?
