1 . We were the Hebrew midwives to the Pharaoh of Egypt. He wanted us to kill every Hebrew baby born. We refused Pharoah’s command and told him it was due to the Hebrew women having babies too quickly when it was really due to our fear of our God. Who are we?

Answer - I am:

2 . I was married to King Herod’s chief steward. Jesus healed me which caused me to become a follower. I traveled with Jesus and his disciples and took care of them with my own means. Even after everyone turned on Jesus I stayed through his crucifixion and followed his body to the tomb. I can be found in the book of Acts. Who am I?

Answer - I am:

3 . I am the father-in-law of a very well-known prophet. My son-in-law’s time was often filled with having to hear other people’s problems and having to judge who was right and wrong. I recommended that he choose some wise men, teach them God’s laws, and delegate responsibility for judging the people. And that changed the way Israel operated. I can be found in Exodus. Who am I?

Answer - I am:

4 . I was Esther’s cousin, and I raised her as a child. When I learned that the wicked Haman had plotted to kill the Jewish people, I sent a message to Esther. I told her that she must go to the king to save her people. I reminded Esther that her life was in God’s hands, and He had chosen her for this job. I can be found in the book of Esther. Who am I?

When he arrived, he found the widows crying. Peter sent them out of the room and kneeled down to pray. Then, he stood up and said, “Arise.” I opened my eyes and was alive again! I can be found in Acts. Who am I?

Answer - I am:

6 . As Israel wandered the wilderness after the Exodus, I rallied together a mob of Israelites to oppose Moses’ leadership, questioning the idea that Moses was God’s only spokesperson. God didn’t take too kindly to my rebellion and I caused the earth to swallow them up in judgment. I found out opposing God’s anointed leader is the same as opposing God. I can be found in the book of Acts. Who am I?
