If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.—Romans 10:9

The world hates Christians for the same reason it hated Jesus: because he brought the light of God, and the world prefers darkness to hide its wicked works. —Jihadist War Against Christianity, Smith
The Apostles’ Creed
I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth;
And in Jesus Christ his only Son, our Lord;
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead and buried;
the third day he rose from the dead;
he ascended into heaven,
and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
from thence he shall come to judge the quick* and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic** church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.

To the angel of the church in Thyatira write: These are the words of the Son of God, whose eyes are like blazing fire and whose feet are like burnished bronze.—Revelation 2:18 (NIV)
- Eyes of fire – all-seeing
- Feet like burnished bronze – intense
One of them was
from Thyatira, a merchant of expensive purple cloth, who worshipped God. As she listened to us, God opened her heart, and she accepted what Paul was saying. She and her household were baptized, and she asked us to be her guests. If you agree that I am a true believer in the Lord,” she said, “come and stay at my home.” And she urged until we agreed.—Acts 16: 14-15 (NLT)
I know your deeds, your love and faith, your service and perseverance, and that you are now doing more than you did at first.—Revelation 2:19 (NIV)
Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols.—Revelation 2: 20 (NIV)
This “Jezebel” in Revelation was a

I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds.—Revelation 20: 23 (NIV)
Now I say to the rest of you in Thyatira, to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets, “I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.”—Revelation 20: 24-25
But I also have a message for the rest of you in Thyatira who have not followed this false teaching (deeper truths, as they call them- depths of Satan, actually). I will ask nothing more of you except that you hold tightly to what you have until I come.
To all who are victorious, who obey me to the very end,
To them I will give authority over all the nations.
They will rule the nations with an iron rod
and smash them like clay pots.
They will have the same authority I received from my Father, and I will also give them the morning star!—Revelation 2:26-28
Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches.—Revelation 2:29
I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.—Revelation 22:16
