Fully trusting in the God of the Gospel means we remember that our lives are ongoing processes of sanctification through stumbles, falls, doubts, questions, fears, and struggles with sin. Fully trusting is remembering what Jesus saved us from and fully admitting that we haven’t “arrived” yet – that God is completing the good work He began in us. Trusting in God is remembering His grace, faithfulness, patience, and love for us not only when we were saved, but also in the midst of our current, sometimes messy circumstances. And fully trusting in God is seeing and celebrating His work in others and knowing that He’s faithful to complete that work as well.
