Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. 13 Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. You can make many plans,

Discussion Questions:

  1. We all have expectations for our lives. Go ahead and talk through some of the those things. What kind of things do you expect for yourself? Have those expectations changed as you’ve aged? Or have they stayed the same?

  2. Read Micah 6:8 out loud. God gives us three expectations in this verse. What are they? What does it look like to meet those expectations in your life- be specific if you can.

  3. Do you feel like you communicate your expectations well with people in your life? Why or why not? Is it hard to communicate those for you? Do you ever feel like people constantly let you down?

  4. Have you ever felt like God has not met your expectations?
