The tongue has the power of life and death..
Proverbs 18:21 NIV

And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own?
Matthew 7:3 NLT

Don’t pick on people, jump on their failures, criticize their faults - unless, of course, you want the same treatment. That critical spirit has a way of boomeranging. It’s easy to see a smudge on your neighbor’s face and be oblivious to the ugly sneer on your own. Do you have the nerve to say, ‘Let me wash your face for you,’ when your own face is distorted by contempt? It’s this whole traveling road-show mentality all over again, playing a holier-than-thou part instead of just living your part. Wipe that ugly sneer of your own face, and you might be fit to offer a washcloth to your neighbor.
Matthew 7:3-5 MSG

4 I always thank my God when I pray for you, Philemon, 5 because I keep hearing about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all of God’s people. 6 And I am praying that you will put into action the generosity that comes from your faith… 7 Your love has given me much joy and comfort, my brother, for your kindness has often refreshed the hearts of God’s people.
Philemon 1:4-7 NLT

He is no longer like a slave to you. He is more than a slave, for he is a beloved brother…
Philemon 1:16 NLT

encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today…”
Hebrews 3:13 NIV

So encourage each other and build each other up…
1 Thessalonians 5:11 NLT

Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works.
Hebrews 10:24 NLT

“Roll the stone aside,” Jesus told them. But Martha, the dead man’s sister, protested, “Lord, he has been dead for four days. The smell will be terrible.”
John 11:39 NLT

43 Then Jesus shouted, “Lazarus, come out!” 44 And the dead man came out, his hands and feet bound in graveclothes, his face wrapped in a headcloth. Jesus told them, “Unwrap him and let him go!”
John 11:43-44 NLT

All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own.
Isaiah 53:6 NLT

You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.
Philippians 2:5 NLT

Kind words bring life…
Proverbs 15:4 Good News Translation

…I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
John 10:10 NIV

He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along.
Psalm 40:2
