Psalm 94:19 / NLT, “When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer.”

1. God ahead of my circumstances
Luke 1:18 / ESV, “And Zechariah said to the angel, “How shall I know this? For I am an old man, & my wife is advanced in years.”

Matthew 6:31-33 / ESV, “So don’t worry, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear?’ 32 For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you. 34 Therefore don’t worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

2. negative thinking with God’s Good News
Luke 1:19 / ESV, “And the angel answered him, “I am Gabriel. I stand in the presence of God, and I was sent to speak to you and to bring you this good news.”

Proverbs 15:30 / NLT, “A cheerful look brings joy to the heart; good news makes for good health.”

3. questioning God’s promises and start listening to them.
Luke 1:20-23 / ESV, “And behold, you will be silent and unable to speak until the day that these things take place, because you did not believe my words, which will be fulfilled in their time.” 21 “And the people were waiting for Zechariah, and they were wondering at his delay in the temple. 22 And when he came out, he was unable to speak to them, and they realized that he had seen a vision in the temple. And he kept making signs to them and remained mute. 23 And when his time of service was ended, he went to his home.

Psalm 18:30 / NLT, “God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises
prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection.’

Second Corinthians 1:20 / NLT, “For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” And through Christ, our “Amen” (which means “Yes”) ascends to God for his glory.”

4. alone with God to find healing
Luke 1:24-25 / ESV, “ After these days his wife Elizabeth conceived, and for five months she kept herself hidden, saying, 25 “Thus the Lord has done for me in the days when he looked on me, to take away my reproach among people.”

Psalm 147:3 / NLT, “He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.”
