1. Read Romans 14:1-2; 1 Corinthians 8:1-8
i. Who are those who are weak in the faith based on these two verses? What are some modern examples of this?

ii. Why are we not supposed to “dispute over doubtful things?”

iii. Is Paul saying that having your conscious clear to eat all things means you are strong in the faith in all areas of your life? Why or why not?

iv. What can we learn from this section about consuming products from non-Christian sources?

v. In what areas of your spiritual life have you allowed “knowledge to puff up?”

2. Read Romans 14:3-4; 1 Corinthians 5:11-13; 1 Corinthians 8:9-13

a. If a brother or sister is struggling with something we consume, how should we respond?

b. According to Paul in 1 Corinthians 8, can we find ourselves sinning “against Christ” while doing something that in and of itself is not sin? How does this work?

c. If we are not to judge “doubtful things” what are we supposed to judge?

d. How does all of this tie together with “Loving People?”
