3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. Lay Down the Lie – Your Trials Mean God Has Abandoned You
Pick Up the Truth – Your Faith Is Being Strengthened Through Trials

Lay Down the Lie – You Are Powerless Against the Enemy
Pick Up the Truth – You Are Shielded by God’s Power
“Who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.” —1 Peter 1:5 NIV
In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. —Ephesians 6:16 NIV
Rejoice in your living hope – Jesus has secured your future.
Trust God’s refining process – Your trials are strengthening your faith.
Stand firm in God’s power – You are shielded and protected by Him.
