Isaiah 42:1-6 CSB

*Big Idea: The Spirit of God empowers the Church to shine God’s light of truth and righteousness. *

“This is my servant; I strengthen him,
this is my chosen one; I delight in him.
I have put my Spirit on him;
he will bring justice to the nations.” —Isaiah 42:1 (CSB)

1. The mission of God’s Servant is to fill Creation with God’s Spirit. (v1)
   

2. Jesus gives His Spirit to the Church to bring justice and mercy. (vv2-4)
   

3. God handholds His children to the exact place He wants them to shine. (vv5-6)
   

“When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth.” —John 16:13 (CSB)
