1 . THE CHRISTIAN LIFE IS A

TRIP
“Jesus said, ‘Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.’” John 20:21 (NIV)

OUR RESPONSE:

I AM LORD, ME

2 . CHRISTIANS

AND DIFFERENTLY
“Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation. Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life.” Philippians 2:14-15 (NIV)

OUR RESPONSE: WITHOUT

“Do everything without grumbling or arguing.” Philippians 2:14

“God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them. And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect.” 1 John 4:16-17 (NLT)

OUR RESPONSE: STANDING

“So that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation. Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky.” Philippians 2:14-15

“Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.” Romans 12:2 (MSG)

OUR RESPONSE: HOLDING

“As you hold firmly to the word of life.” Philippians 2:15

“Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in the one Spirit, striving together as one for the faith of the gospel.” Philippians 1:27 (NIV)

3 . LIVING AS

“So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, ‘Come back to God!’” 2 Corinthians 5:20 (NLT)

4 . LOOKING LIKE

GALILEANS
“We love because he first loved us.” 1 John 4:19 (ESV)
