Isaiah 6

King Uzziah Died
In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple.

Seated On A Throne

High and Exalted

Concept of God being both Transcendent & Imminent

Seraphim
2 Above him were seraphim, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying.

Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under its wings. Day and night they never stop saying: Revelation 4:7

Holy Holy Holy Is The Lord
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty;
the whole earth is full of his glory.”
Holy = קָדוֹשׁ qā·ḏôš set apart, separate, consecrated for God absolute purity, awesome, glorious, luminous, commanding respect/fear, sacred,

“ ‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty,’ who was, and is, and is to come.” Revelation 4:8

Seismic Shock & Smoke
4 At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke.

Woe To Me
5 “Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.”

Guilt Forgiven & Sin Atoned
6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. 7 With it he touched my mouth and said, “See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.”

Hearing The Voice Of The Lord
8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

The Trinity
8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness… Genesis 1:26

The Call
8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

Isaiah’s Response
8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

What I Want For You
That you have experience God. And when God calls, you say yes. Here I am. Send me.
