What you believe about eternity determines how you live today.

I. A

Beyond Our Understanding

Beyond = outside the limits & reach of our human experiences.

“… No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit …” (1 Corinthians 2:9-10, NIV)

“The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass. The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone … The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl.” (Revelation 21:18–19, NIV)

II. A

Beyond Our Curse

“No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.” (Revelation 22:3–5, NIV)

“‘… God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away!’” (Revelation 21:3–4, NIV)

III. An

Beyond Our Celebration

“… there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb … All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God,” (Revelation 7:9, 11, NIV)

“… every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be unto him that sits upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.” (Revelation 5:13, KJV)
