1.BE HUMAN

GOD DID NOT CREATE US TO BE SUPERHUMAN OR SUBHUMAN.

He created us in His image….. As humans.

INCREASINGLY, OUR WORLD IS PUSHING US TO BE AND DO THINGS ONLY GOD CAN BE AND DO.

In the process of trying to do what only God can do, anxiety has become a word of the day.

GOD CREATED YOU AS A HUMAN

Humans are not ultimately in Control God is Omnipotent

Humans are not Perfect God is Holy

Humans do not have all the Right Answers God is Omniscient

Humans are not always there for People God is Omnipresent

Humans do not have everyone’s Approval God is Loving

2. BE SENT

YOU ARE BEING SENT WITH A PURPOSE.

John 1:7 “Came as a witness to testify concerning that light that through him all men might believe. He himself was not the light, he came only as a witness to the light.”

Ephesians 2:10 “For we are God’s masterpiece, created in Christ Jesus to do good works which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

YOU ARE BEING SENT WITH

Natural Talents - The qualities you have had since you were born.
Acquired Abilities - Lessons learned, skills sharpened, and wisdom gained.
Spiritual Giftings - The giftings God gave you when you accepted Him as your Savior.

CHARACTER MATTERS- 1 Timothy 3:2-7, Titus 1:5-9

BEING SENT IS ABOUT TRANSFORMATION NOT TRANSACTION

Often the reason you are sent can be found at the convergence of Your Natural Talents, Acquired abilities and your Spiritual Giftings.”

3. KNOW WHO IS SENDING YOU

GOD SENT JOHN.

As God was with John, God will be with you.

REMEMBER WHO GOD IS.

WHEN YOU ARE SENT “FROM GOD” YOU LIVE FROM A DIFFERENT PLAYBOOK

Bless those Who Curse You
Pray for Those who Mistreat You
Displace Negative Actions Against You with Positive Responses of Well Doing
Forgive
Be Generous with Your Love and Life
Do not Expect to Be Rewarded by your Enemies when you are Kind to them

4. HE KNOWS YOUR NAME

You might be going to places where no other person will know your name.

He desires a personal, close, and intimate relationship with you.
