Becoming the Rod of God’s Grace 2
Acts 7:20-22
20“At that time Moses was born, and he was no ordinary child. 22Moses was educated in all the wisdom of the Egyptians and was powerful in speech and action. NIV
Exo 4:2
So the LORD said to him, “What is that in your hand?” He said, “A rod.”
Exo 4:20
Then Moses returned to the land of Egypt. And Moses took the rod of God in his hand. NKJV
How can we turn an ordinary rod into the rod of God?
Rock צוּר ṣûr: Sharp rock, cliff.
Horeb חֹרֵב : Desolate, barren.
How do we turn an ordinary rod into the rod of God? A rod that brings down our adversaries, performs astounding miracles, breaks down barriers and releases great supplies even from rocks, dead situations. Lay hold of all the Abrahamic Blessings as we declare His grace and goodness in our life and words.
Num 20:6-13
7The LORD said to Moses, 8“Take the staff, and you and your brother Aaron gather the assembly together. Speak to that rock before their eyes and it will pour out its water. You will bring water out of the rock for the community so they and their livestock can drink.” 9So Moses took the rod from before the LORD as He commanded him.
Rock סֶלַע sela‘: Lofty, majestic rock, cliff, fortress, stronghold.
1 Cor 10:3-4
3For they all drank from the miraculous rock that traveled with them, and that rock was Christ. NLT
