Lesson Overview: Gifted To Build
In this week’s message, we looked at a few passages in which we saw God has placed us in a body to be a part of building that body. We saw how God has given us gifts to use for the building of the Church.
What have you been taught about spiritual gifts?
What do you feel like you don’t understand regarding spiritual gifts?
Read Romans 12:3-8.
What does this passage teach us regarding the local church?

How has God gifted you and wired you to be a part of the body?
How are you using your gifts for the building up of the body?
It was shared in the message that we have the wrong mindset about the body of Christ, and we have a small mindset about the part we play.
What do you believe the role of pastors and leaders are in the local church, and why?

Read 1 Peter 4:7-12.
Four things were shared about being a gifted builder. Gifted builders love well, live generously, serve faithfully, and do it all for the glory of God and the good of humanity.
Out of these four, where is God calling you to grow?
What is your love like for the local church, and how do you grow in your love for the local church?
Where is God calling you to be faithful in using the gifts he has given you?
