to the right voice?
1. Tune out what you know is not true.
2. Tune in what you know to be true.

II. Are we

the gift(s) God has given us?

III. Are we

on the right things?

IV. Are we

only on ourselves?

Ephesians 1:18-20

“And what more shall I say? For time would fail me to tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, of David and Samuel and the prophets – “who through faith” conquered kingdoms, enforced justice, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, “were made strong out of weakness”, became mighty in war, put foreign armies to flight.” Hebrews 11:32-24

1. Looking back over your life what would you change about a “giant” you have to face in life. What would you change about how you handled that situation? What did you learn about God that might be helpful to someone facing “a giant?”

2. David displayed courage facing Goliath. His faith was placed in his powerful God. Who in our society today do you consider to be courageous and why?

3. How had fear of Goliath spread throughout the people of Israel? How have you seen fear spread to others in your life?

4. How has facing challenges allowed you to understand God’s power?

5. What would you share from Sunday’s message that could encourage others who are facing life-altering challenges to take courage in God’s strength for their fight?
