Q9 Read the Lord’s Prayer, especially Matthew 6:9-10, which says “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done. On earth as it is in heaven”.
Do we ask God to establish a theocratic reign through Jesus on the entire earth?
Q10 Read Zechariah 14:4, On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south.
This prophecy speaks about the moment of the Lord Jesus’ Second coming. Where will Jesus’ feet stand? What will geographically happen with that place? Will that be the starting point of Jesus’ 1000-year reign on earth? Does that fit with the prophecies of Isaiah 2:3 and Habakkuk 2:14?
Q11 Have you ever heard a sermon on the Second coming of our Lord? Read Revelation 19:11-16, 11I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war. 12His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. 13He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. 14The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. 15Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. 16On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KINGS OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
What are the armies of Heaven? Does Jesus come from Heaven for us or with us? If your answer is “with us”, then how have we come into Heaven in the first place?
Q12 In Matthew 23:39 Jesus says “For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’”
Does Jesus say that the remnant of the Jews need to ask Jesus to return?
In Revelation 22:17 Jesus says “’The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!’“. Who is the Bride? The sum of all believers, both Jewish and non-Jewish?
