If you’re not into caffeine, enjoy some delicious Hot Cocoa outside at our Cocoa Bar. While you’re out there, be sure to make yourself a s’more (or two!) at the S’mores Bar and take a picture at the Photo Booth by the Christmas tree. You won’t want to miss the sweet treasure you’ll get to take home.
Christmas Offering
Our annual Christmas Offering will be equally divided between two local ministries this year. The Purpose Center is a ministry of Chosen Church and Pastor Yannik McKie. The Purpose Center is located in downtown Augusta to serve as a community resource and mentoring center that helps equip, educate, and inspire at-risk youth and their families to overcome challenges and maximize their potential. You can learn more about this ministry here. Game Changers Foundation is a ministry started by Will Dalzell. Will is a long-time member of TrueNorth who is passionate about helping those struggling with substance abuse. The mission of Game Changers is to provide spiritual environments and experiences in Christ that bring recovery to the hearts, minds, and souls of those struggling with substance abuse, and healing to their marriages and families. December 26: Church at Home
We will have one online service only on Sunday, December 26 at 9am. It will be available on demand after that time. We will not meet in person on campus that day.
December 28: Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery (CR) will meet this coming Tuesday, December 28 at 7pm on the TrueNorth Church campus. CR is made up of regular people who are on a journey toward wholeness; seeking recovery from and celebrating God’s healing of life’s hurts, habits, and hang-ups. Trained leaders provide safe, confidential, Christ-centered groups where people can grow. They offer their stories as fellow travelers on the journey to healing.
If you struggle with a particular issue that seems to have such strength and power over you that it prevents you from experiencing any real victory, then we invite you to join us at Celebrate Recovery! You can learn more about Celebrate Recovery at TrueNorth here.

January 1: 2022 Bible Reading Plan Begins
Together we will walk through the entire Old Testament (except Psalms and Proverbs) in 2022. Our plan is designed so that you only read for approximately 10-15 minutes each day. Our hope is to foster a daily encounter with God, both individually and as a church family, while enjoying one of the greatest gifts we have, God’s Word.

On Sunday, January 2, we begin a New Year at TrueNorth together! Do you want a better year in 2022? Start by asking yourself, what do I want more of in my life and what do I want less of? What if more were less? Pastor Steve invites us to consider that the most impactful year of our life awaits as we choose to lose ourselves so that He might win!
January 5: Element Training
Are you interested in working with students and seeing what we do at Element? We have a need for volunteers to serve on Wednesday nights. We have a training on January 5, 2022 at 6pm where you can hear more about the ministry and find a place to serve.

January 9: Here and Now Series Begins
We often think, worry, and speak of what might happen in the future. Much of our energy today is often focused on tomorrow. Is it possible that we’ve become so consumed with “there and then” that we’ve forgotten about the “here and now?” God’s vision for our lives and His church are fueled by what we do today, allowing us to transform our tomorrow.
January 10: Perspectives on the World Christian Movement Classes Begin
Perspectives will take you on a journey, looking in-depth at the biblical, historical, cultural, and strategic aspects of God’s global plan to reconcile every nation, tribe, people, and tongue to Himself. Our Associate Pastor, Gene Jennings, will be one of the instructors.

The mission of TrueNorth Church is to lead people into a passionate relationship with Jesus Christ. Since TrueNorth launched in 2004, the words of Jesus in Luke 15 have defined who we are and what we are about. “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them – what do you do? You leave the other ninety-nine sheep in the pasture and go looking for the one that got lost until you find it” (Luke 15:4).
For The One is a two-phase capital campaign. The first phase was designed to generate $1.3 million to begin the loan process with our lender. We have completed phase one thanks to the generosity of our incredible church! In phase two, we will be generating the funds necessary for future construction costs. Our leadership team is currently praying and evaluating when the construction process will begin.
