This week, Pastor Roscoe talked about Baptism. Faith is all about next steps. Baptism is the first step that Jesus asks us to take after salvation. After hearing this message, how has your understanding of salvation and baptism changed?

One of the last things Jesus tells his disciples is to go into all the world making disciples and baptizing them. What does it mean to be a disciple of Jesus Christ? How do we make disciples?

Baptism demonstrates physically what takes place spiritually. It’s a picture of our past being buried and a new life in Christ. We all have a past. In Christ, we’re a new creation and have a new beginning. How has Jesus changed your life?

While baptism isn’t required for salvation, it is an act of obedience and the first step in following Jesus. Baptism is a public declaration of your love and devotion for Jesus. Have you decided to follow Jesus and make Him the Lord of your life? If you haven’t taken part in believer’s baptism, will you take your next step on November 12th? Who do you know that should be baptized?
