Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.” Hebrews 12:28-29
Homes eventually crumble, communities change, our health declines;; nothing in this world is really permanent. As Christians, however, we have something that will never end; we have the kingdom of God. Let us be thankful for this! Let us be thankful that whether we live or die, we have an inheritance in a kingdom (Heb 13:14). Let us be thankful that this kingdom was designed by the great designer, God himself (Heb 11:10). Because of these truths, we can be thankful for a kingdom that cannot be shaken (Hebrews 12:28). We have a kingdom that will always be, and no ruler or disaster can destroy it.

Hebrews 12:25 God is Speaking, Listen to Him.

We must not refuse the one who is speaking, Jesus Christ, or we will face eternal misery.

Hebrews 12:26-27 A Final Shaking

Hebrews 12:28-29 An Unshakeable Kingdom

God in his great mercy is offering to everyone who believes in Jesus, God the Son, a kingdom that cannot be shaken and will never end.

Let us give thanks and worship God.

Authentic Worship Comes From a Heart of Thankfulness

Our temporary home may be shaking under us right now, but our soon to be permanent home is standing as firm as ever. Be thankful to God today for his unshakable kingdom.
