Tier 1 Questions (still in Exodus)
1. Why did God want the Israelites to make the tabernacle? (refer back to Exodus 25:8)
• What items were the Israelites to make for the tabernacle and what were their significance? (see chapters 25-28) (see diagram here: https://bit.ly/2AYerkU)
2. God
Tiers 2-3 Questions
God gives specific moral guidelines in Leviticus 18 for Moses to teach the Israelites about holy living. Moses was to introduce these laws with God’s message “I am the LORD your God.” (see Exodus 18:2) How many times is the above phrase repeated in these chapters?
• Note: The Hebrew word LORD here is YHWH, or Yahweh, the same name God called himself at the burning bush. Yahweh is a personal name for Israel’s God of life, implying His nearness and eternal existence.
