Jesus declared that there is a direct correlation between our faith and the way we handle our money. (Matthew 6:19-24)

In a budget you are telling every dollar where to go – not wondering where it went.Understand the Debtor is
GOD’S MODEL FOR $$ : EARN - GIVE - SAVE - REPAY - ENJOY
CULTURE’S MODEL FOR $$ : EARN - ENJOY - REPAY - SAVE - GIVE
There are only 2 things you can do with wealth, worship it or worship with it.
If you hit the bullseye of the wrong target, you failed.
How ironic that the money we possess inscribed with “In God We Trust” is the very thing we Trust God the least with.

c. Explain what Jesus meant about “serving” two masters. What does that look like?
d. Discuss how faith and how we handle money are closely related.
e. Why is “wants vs. needs” such a hard choice? How does contentment play in to it?
f. Discuss the differences in the table above about how we handle money.
