A.I. Authentic Intelligence - The Assignment Luke 9:1-6
1. When Jesus gives you an assignment He gives you His authority
Luke 9:1-2
One day Jesus called his twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority to cast out all demons and to heal all diseases. Then he sent them out to tell everyone about the Kingdom of God and to heal the sick.
2. He gave them nothing…but…
Luke 9:3-5
“Take nothing for your journey,” he instructed them. “Don’t take a walking stick, a traveler’s bag, food, money, or even a change of clothes. Wherever you go, stay in the same house until you leave town. And if a town refuses to to welcome you, shake its dust from your feet as you leave to show that you have abandoned those people to their fate.”
Matthew 10:11
“Whenever you enter a city or village, search for a worthy person and stay in his home until you leave town”.

3. They obeyed…
Luke 9:6
So they began their circuit of the villages, preaching the Good News and healing the sick.
Matthew 10:17-18
“But beware! For you will be handed over to the courts and will be flogged with whips in the synagogues. You will stand trial before governors and Kings because you are my followers. But this will be your opportunity to tell the rulers and unbelievers about me.”
