A. Think About: “The grace and forgiveness we receive from God develops in us a Christ-like character toward others.”
B. Read About: Ephesians 4:32, “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.”
C. Pray About: In prayer today, thank God, really thank God for how tenderhearted and forgiving He is toward you. Receive deep into your heart this love and mercy from God. See how much He loves giving you grace. Then think about others in your life and see them through the same eyes of love. Pray for these people asking God to give them His very best. If they have frustrated or wounded you, forgive them as you have been forgiven. Remember, that when we forgive people, we are not necessarily choosing to trust them again. Sometimes we can, but sometimes we cannot. You might need to set boundaries. But when you forgive, you do choose to let go of the bitterness you have in your heart, and you no longer seek revenge or harbor hate toward them.
