Luke 21:5-28

Luke 21:28 –
“…when these things begin to take place, stand up and lift your heads, because your
redemption is near.”
12 Things Jesus Said Would Happen Before His Return:
1. Not one stone would be left on another, v. 6.
2. Many would claim to be Messiah, v. 8.
3. There will be wars and rebellions, v. 9.
4. There will be earthquakes, famines, plagues and signs from heaven, v. 11.
5. Christians will be persecuted, v. 12.
6. Christians will be betrayed, v. 16.
7. Christians will be hated, but not harmed, vs. 17-18.
8. Jerusalem (Israel) will be surrounded, v. 20.
9. There will be signs in the skies, v. 25a.
10. There will be anguish over the climate, v. 25b.
11. Fear will come because of the shaking of the heavens, v. 26.
12. Jesus will return, v. 27.
