Part 7: Positioned for

“No one from the east or the west or from the desert can exalt themselves. It is God who judges: He brings one down, he exalts another.”Psalm 75:6-7 NIV


You don’t yourself into promotion; you trust God to elevate you in His perfect .

How to be Positioned for Promotion:

1. Live

“Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him.”Psalm 37:5-7 NIV

The secret to a satisfied

is a surrendered .

2. Embrace

“David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years. At Hebron, he reigned over Judah seven years and six months, and at Jerusalem, he reigned over all Israel and Judah thirty-three years.”2 Samuel 5:4-5 NIV

“Little by little I will drive them out before you, until you have increased enough to take possession of the land.”Exodus 23:30 NIV

We can’t expect promotion without first embracing

“Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin.”Zechariah 4:10 NLT

3. Pursue

“In the past, while Saul was king over us, you were the one who led Israel on their military campaigns. And the Lord said to you, ‘You will shepherd my people Israel, and you will become their ruler.’”2 Samuel 5:2 NIV

God is looking for a

to serve, and then He promotes that person with to lead.

“For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”Mark 10:45 NIV

The Lord lives! Praise be to my Rock! Exalted be God my Savior! He is the God who avenges me, who subdues nations under me, who saves me from my enemies.
