The Fulfillment Factor part 1
PART 1: REBUILDING RUINS
We are living in a cancel culture —
God does not run a cancel culture - He runs a covenant culture.
Matthew 5:17
17 Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets;
I did not come to abolish but to fulfill.
The word Jesus uses for “fulfill” is plēroō (play-ROH-oh).
It does not mean “replace.” It does not mean “void.”
It means:
- To complete.
- To fill up to the brim.
- To finish something to perfection.
- To bring full understanding or full measure.
Two words: FULL - FILLED.
The LAW Gave You a Roadmap, Jesus Gave You a Revelation.
The Old Testament is the foundation Jesus fulfilled!
THE OLD TESTAMENT IS STILL THE WORD OF GOD…
AND JESUS IS THE WORD MADE FLESH.
Jesus fulfilled the law, embodied it, and unlocked it for YOU.
The law was perfect - it just could not make you perfect.
Romans 7:12
12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
While the law was good, it was not enough.
The law could tell you what was wrong, but it could not make you right.
The law could tell you what to do, but not how to do it.
The law was a SHADOW — Jesus is the LIGHT.
Hebrews 10:1
1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
1. WAS THIS LAW GIVEN TO A SPECIFIC PEOPLE?
Many Old Testament laws were national or ceremonial, given directly to Israel to distinguish them from pagan nations.
Old Testament laws came in three types:
- Moral (right/wrong, e.g., murder, adultery)
- Civil (for governing Israel)
- Ceremonial (rituals, sacrifices, cleansing laws)
Romans 14:17
17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
Righteousness = our identity (you have to know you have a right to open the doors).
Peace = what we proclaim (do not speak what you see or feel).
Joy = our attitude of FAITH!
Romans 14:18 - 23
18 For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.
19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
20 For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.
21 It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.
22 Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.
23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.
2. DO I FEEL CONVICTED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT ABOUT THIS?
Romans 14:23b
23b Whatever does not proceed from faith is sin.
Colossians 2:16 – 17 NIV
16 Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day.
17 These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ.
Obey the Spirit, but do not confuse personal revelation with corporate regulation.
Matthew 23:23b NIV
23b But you have neglected the more important matters of the law—justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former.
WALKING into FULL-FILLED THEOLOGY
Luke 4:15 - 21
15 And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.
16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.
17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,
18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
20 And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.
21 And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.
This is what FULL-FILLED looks like:
- THE WORD IS SPOKEN and there is joy where there was depression.
- Broken hearts healed by a higher love.
- Chains shattered, addictions broken, and prison doors flung wide.
- A new season declared where there once was drought.
- Comfort replacing isolation.
- Strength instead of fragility.
- A mantle of praise in place of the spirit of heaviness.
Isaiah 61:3b - 4
3b That they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.
4 They shall rebuild the ancient ruins, They shall raise up the former devastations,
And they shall repair the ruined cities…”
When you become FULL-FILLED:
- You are no longer easily moved by gossip, rejection, or pressure.
- You do not chase approval - you carry anointing.
- You do not bend with the storm - you become shade for others in the middle of it.
YOU ARE THE REVIVAL.
YOU ARE THE RENEWAL.
YOU ARE THE REPAIRER.
“REBUILD” in Hebrew = bānāh MEANS TO ESTABLISH A FAMILY NAME.
Not just “to construct,” but “to establish a name through family.”
1 Corinthians 4:15a (KJV)
15a For though you have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers…
Paul was confronting the imbalance of a church culture that mass-produces instructors, but fails to reproduce image-bearers.
THE ORPHAN SPIRIT — A SYSTEM DISGUISED AS STRUCTURE
The orphan spirit is not merely a personal struggle; it can infiltrate families, churches, and entire ministries, distorting our view of God and affecting how we relate to others.
The orphan spirit is not just a feeling - it is a framework.
- It craves visibility because it does not know value.
- It competes for influence because it does not know inheritance.
- It fears correction because it was never loved in it.
This is the war between striving and abiding, hustling and trusting, being an heir or acting like a hireling.
The orphan spirit wants to control outcomes because it does not believe love is secure.
THE KINGDOM IS NOT A STAGE - IT IS A TABLE.
There is room for everybody, and there is no competition in covenant.
Sons…show up like Jesus:
John 5:19 “I only do what I see My Father doing.”
THE HEART OF A SON
God is trying to build this understanding of sonship on the inside of us.
1.
This is not a self-improvement plan.
It is a spiritual divorce from false identity.
IDENTIFY WHEN YOU ARE TALKING LIKE AN ORPHAN…
AND THROW DOWN THAT THOUGHT.
It is not just feeling different.
It is thinking different, walking different, responding different.
The orphan spirit is not just removed in emotion - it is uprooted in repentance.
2.
Romans 8:15
15 You did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry, ‘Abba! Father!’
We do not need more followers.
We need more fathering - more table time to sit, to rest, to be known.
Make FAITH FAMILY a priority.
3.
This is for pastors, leaders, and culture-shapers.
WE MUST AUDIT our systems:
- Is your church built on productivity or presence?
- Are you platforming performers or parenting sons?
- Is correction given in covenant or control?
Kill the machine and REBUILD the TABLE.
Leadership pipelines without fathering = orphan factories.
We do not need ministry machines — we need REVIVAL FAMILIES.
You can give someone a microphone and a manual, but if they have never been fathered they will lead from their wounds, not their wisdom.
- We need homes that burn with the glory of God.
- We need spiritual mothers who cry in secret over their daughters in the faith.
- We need fathers who do not just release you into destiny, they walk with you through your doubts.
Jesus died to give us brothers and sisters, fathers and mothers - a family name, an eternal house.
The early Church grew because it was well-bonded.
Acts 2:46
46 “They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts…”
At those tables:
- People belonged before they performed.
- Truth was spoken in love, not leveraged for control.
- There were no green rooms—only upper rooms filled with fire and family.
4.
Jesus ruled from a place of identity.
He stooped low to demonstrate what true royalty looks like.
He picked up a towel.
When you know who you are, you do not need a spotlight to prove it —
You only need a basin of water and a heart to serve.
- Matthew 23:11 “The greatest among you will be your servant.”
He did not just talk about Kingdom - He embodied it.
We do not just rule cities…
- We wash feet.
- We pour oil.
- We build tables.
We FULL-FILL the streets with serving sons, not striving slaves.
FINAL COMMISSIONING: YOU WERE BORN TO BUILD
FAITH4LIFE — YOU ARE CALLED TO BE A REVIVAL FAMILY!!
- You are called to carry the “Spirit of Adoption” to the rejected, the isolated, the burned-out, and the bound.
We will rule like servants and serve like royalty.
We are building:
- Altars that burn in secret.
- Tables where the lonely find family.
- Cities FULL-FILLED with joy, justice, healing, and hope.
This is about going deeper.
This is about being trusted by Heaven.
YOU HAVE THE KEYS!
Matthew 16:19 “And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom…”
You are FULL-FILLED.
🔥 Amen. So be it. Let it burn. 🔥
