Great Joy
Luke 2:8-10 NLT
8 That night there were shepherds staying in the fields nearby, guarding their flocks of sheep.
9 Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared among them, and the radiance of the Lord’s glory surrounded them. They were terrified,
10 but the angel reassured them. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people.

Heaven anticipates Great Joy when people hear the message of hope found in Jesus. It should inspire us on how we should share the good news.
David makes sure Solomon looks the like a King.
David makes sure the ceremony takes place at Gihon Spring.
1 Kings 1:39 NLT
There Zadok the priest took the flask of olive oil from the sacred tent and anointed Solomon with the oil. Then they sounded the ram’s horn and all the people shouted, “Long live King Solomon!”
When there is unity between God and His people, there is GREAT JOY that shakes things up.
1 Kings 1:40 NASB
And all the people went up after him, and the people were playing on flutes and rejoicing with great joy, so that the earth shook at their noise.
1 Kings 1:41 NLT
Adonijah and his guests heard the celebrating and shouting just as they were finishing their banquet. When Joab heard the sound of the ram’s horn, he asked, “What’s going on? Why is the city in such an uproar?”
1 Kings 1:43 NLT
“Not at all!” Jonathan replied. “Our lord King David has just declared Solomon king!
1 Kings 1:48-49 NLT
48 and he said, ‘Praise the LORD, the God of Israel, who today has chosen a successor to sit on my throne while I am still alive to see it.’”
49 Then all of Adonijah’s guests jumped up in panic from the banquet table and quickly scattered.
Luke 2:11 BSB
Today in the city of David a Savior has been born to you. He is Christ the Lord!
David (In the city of the God-ordained leader – Bethlehem – house of bread)
Savior (deliverer; preserver)
Christ (The chosen one. The Son of God. His function will be to smear or rub with oil.)
Lord (supreme in authority, to whom a person or thing belongs; he has power of deciding)
Luke 2:12-14 NLT
12 And you will recognize him by this sign: You will find a baby wrapped snugly in strips of cloth, lying in a manger.”
13 Suddenly, the angel was joined by a vast host of others—the armies of heaven—praising God and saying,
14 “Glory to God in highest heaven,
and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased.”
Completely the opposite process of presenting a king, unless God wasn’t sending a king but a lamb.
Because God and Man agree (God the Father and Jesus the Son) there is Great Joy!
TIFAW
I am the carrier of GREAT JOY! In my everyday common challenges of life and non-grandiose callings of the moment, I present a message of God’s will toward mankind, Jesus the Savior, Christ the Lord, who brings peace to all mankind.
