1 Truly my soul finds rest in God;
my salvation comes from him.

he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.—Psalms 62:1-27 Return to your rest, my soul,
for the Lord has been good to you.—Psalms 116:7

Prayer for the day
Father God,
You have been so very good to me. You shower me with blessings, you defend me from the sharp arrows of the enemy, your protection surrounds me every minute of every day. In a dark and dangerous world, You are my safe place. Spirit, quiet my soul, and help me to simply trust in the Lord.
Amen
