I’m Free to Walk in the Spirit (#11 of 14)
Gal. 5:16-26

  1. Walking in the Spirit means

    the flesh. (16-18, 24) – “Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh…those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires”

  2. Walking in the Spirit means

    from sin. (19-21, 25) – “the works of the flesh are evident…adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like…those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God”

  3. Walking in the Spirit means

    much fruit. (22-23) – “the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control…If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit”

  4. Walking in the Spirit means

    our hearts. (26) – “Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another”
