I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will BEAR much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. —John 15:5 (NIV)

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. —2 Peter 3:18 (NIV)

Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, —1 Peter 2:1-2 (NIV)

And he sent messengers on ahead, who went into a Samaritan village to get things ready for him; but the people there did not welcome him, because he was heading for Jerusalem. When the disciples James and John saw this, they asked, “Lord, do you want us to call fire down from heaven to destroy them? —Luke 9:52-54 (NIV)

Then people brought little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked them. —Matthew 19:13 (NIV)

These men who have caused trouble all over the world have now come here, —Acts 17:6 (NIV)

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. —Colossians 3:15-17 (NKJV)
