2. Prayer is

3. Prayer is faith in
A. We need to pray because God
Now Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the settlers of Gilead, said to Ahab, “As Yahweh, the God of Israel, lives, before whom I stand, surely there shall be neither dew nor rain these years, except by my word.”

Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months. James 5:17 LSB
B. When you pray you’re less likely to enter into

We know that God does not listen to sinners; but if anyone is God-fearing and does His will, He listens to him. John 9:31 LSB
