v6- And the angel of the Lord solemnly assured Joshua,
v7- “Thus says the Lord of hosts: If you will walk in my ways and keep my charge, then you shall rule my house and have charge of my courts, and I will give you the right of access among those who are standing here.
3 Getting over Guilt for Good Guarantees:
- We must all admit our guilt before God (Zech. 3:1-3, Rev 12:10)
9 Conviction Vs. Condemnation Concepts:
- There is a difference between satanic accusation and spirit conviction.
- Condemnation comes from Satan. Conviction comes from the Spirit.
- Condemnation focuses on who you are. Conviction focuses on what you did.
- Conviction gives you a light at the end of the tunnel. In condemnation the light at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming train!
- Satan uses condemnation to paralyze you. Spirit uses conviction to purify you.
- There is a difference between guilt and guilty feelings. You can be guilty but not feel guilty. You can feel guilty but not be guilty.
- Satan will condemn you of sin you have not committed or that you have already been forgiven of. The Spirit will only convict you of unconfessed sin.
- Satan will use condemnation to accuse you and confuse you. Spirit will use conviction to correct and cleanse you.
- Satan will use condemnation to rebuke you. Spirit will use conviction to restore you.
8 Accusation Aspects:
- Satan will always be your accuser
- The only time the devil will be on your side is when you stand against God
- If you’ve never had a head on collision with the devil, chances are you are walking with him!
- Satan will tempt you then trap you
- Satan will whisper in your right ear … “you can get away with this.” Then when you do it, “you can’t get away with that.”
- He’ll tempt you to jump in the mud and then blame you for getting dirty!
- When the devil talks to you about God he will always lie to you (Gen. 3:2)
- Satan is the master of the guilt trip. Jesus is the master of the grace trip.
