GREETINGS

The North Summit family strives to make you feel welcomed wherever you are on your faith journey. Maybe you have been in church your whole life or maybe this is the first time you have considered attending; either way, there is a place for you here.

YOUTH & KIDS

We offer dynamic programming for kids ages birth-6th grade. We currently have all nursery, preschool, and elementary classes during our 9:30 service. We also offer nursery and preschool, and K-3 classes during our 11:00 service. If you are visiting us for the first time, please visit the Family Lobby.

Jr. High and High School students attend the Sunday services and meet together for Youth Group on Wednesday evenings during the school year from 6:00-8:00 pm.

Summit After School is a drop-in after school program for 1st-6th grades. We serve food, teach a Bible lesson, play games, work on crafts, and talk about applying the lesson in small groups. If you would like more info or would like to serve please contact Nate Lacy.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Abide Women’s Bible Study – starts September 24th
Come join an 8-week study of walking with Jesus in His first-century world as we study snapshots from the Gospel of Luke.  Study material is Luke in the Land by Kristi McLelland. Held in the North Building on Tuesdays from September 24th – November 19th from 9 – 11 am.  Childcare is available.  Purchase Bible study book for $25 from Lifeway.  Stop by the Women’s Table for more information and a flyer.

Seniors Brown Bag Lunch - Wednesday, September 25th
Join us on Wednesday, September 25th at 11:30am in the Prayer Room - East for a time of fellowship. Bring your favorite lunch and a friend as we gather. No RSVP necessary.

Baptisms - Sunday, September 29th
If you haven’t taken the bold step of being immersed in Christian baptism and you have been wanting to do so, now is the time. The baptistry will be available Sunday, September 29th immediately following the third service for you to take your first step in discipleship. If you are interested or want to learn more about being baptized, check “Baptism” on your Connection Card or email Eric at e.thompson@northsummit.com.

Membership Class - Sunday, September 29th
The Membership Class is a great opportunity to learn about our vision, mission, methodology, basic Bible teachings, and what we would expect of you as a member. Reservations are required for this class which will be held Sunday, September 29th from 9:30-10:30 am in the South Building Room 205.

Summit After School Kickoff - starts October 8th
October 8th will be our first day back for Summit After School (SAS)! SAS is a drop-in, after-school program offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30-5 pm.Registration will be at the entrance of the South Building on Oct 8th (main entrance).. We serve food, teach an age-appropriate Bible lesson, play games, work on crafts, and talk about applying the lesson in small groups. Men’s Breakfast - Saturday, October 12th
Saturday, October 12th, you will have the opportunity to connect with other men and be inspired by a message from one of our Pastors. Join us at 8am with a friend and an appetite. Please RSVP by writing “men’s breakfast” on your Connection Card or by stopping by the Men’s Ministry table in the Connection Hall.
